If you are a fan of Crocs generally, you will love these boots. They are so comfortable, I sometimes wear them around the house ! They don’t feel like Wellington Boots on your feet and are much easier to walk in.

I tried on the other ladies’ Crocs wellies (The pale coloured pearlised ones with the leopard-type print) and they were very, very small. I usually take a size 7, and needed a size 9 in those. They were still tight around the calf too, so not for stouter ladies.

Based on that, I ordered these in a size 9. They are more than wide enough around the calf, nice and wide in the foot, but too big lengthwise. I think a 7 would be too small. An 8 would have been perfect. Nothing a pair of thick socks can’t fix though.:-)

Edit: I gave these boots the ultimate test by putting them through Glastonbury 2011. They slipped off a couple of times in the mud, but so did everyone else’s. I found them very comfortable – I walked miles in them every day – though they did need long socks to stop chafing. They also stood up to the evil, thick mud very well where many other people’s wellies failed; they are so light that I was sure they would crack or develop holes, but they didn’t. In fact they still look fabulous! They are also not even very sweaty – only had that problem on the hottest day with the most walking. Couldn’t be more pleased with the way they performed. And the cheerful colour actually made me feel better when slogging through the rain. In the end, with all that walking, the size 9′s turned out to be just right. So do order a couple of sizes too big and wear thick socks – you’ll be very comfy.

All in all, these are fab boots – light, comfy, fairly stylish and different: great for those of us who want more than a plain welly but don’t have the budget for Hunters.

I love these wellies…I have quite wide feet but they fit perfectly and because of their ‘spongy’ type sole they are lovely and comfortable & of course waterproof. Much more comfortable than the traditional style wellies I had before highly recommended.
